Edin Terzic confirmed that Nico Williams has returned to work on the pitch with the group and his first sensations have been positive.

«After that, we will make a final decision on how much he can help us, maybe tomorrow or maybe on Sunday», he explained.

Therefore, Nico has options to return against Levante, although his involvement will depend on the latest medical assessment.

As for Oihan Sancet, he continues to progressively increase his workload, but he has not yet fully rejoined the group.

The coach regretted the injury of Gorka Guruzeta, who will be sidelined from the pitch for an extended period.

To replace him, Maroan Sannadi and Iñaki Williams are the main alternatives.

Terzic explained that Sannadi offers the profile of a reference striker, while Iñaki brings mobility, pressure and runs into space. He also left open the possibility of turning to players from the academy.

Good news about Robert Navarro, who finished the last match with physical discomfort.

Terzic confirmed that both Navarro and other players who had suffered knocks or fatigue have completed training and are ready to play against Levante.

Possible changes in Athletic's attack

The manager acknowledged that the team needs to improve its goal-scoring efficiency and make better use of its chances.

With Guruzeta out and doubts over Nico Williams' availability, Terzic will have to reshuffle his attacking options, although he did not offer any definitive clues about the starting XI.
