Giorgi Kochorashvili has not trained all week and his involvement will depend on how he responds in the final session.

'It could be that he is in the starting lineup, at least for the bench, or it could be that he starts, or it could be that he is not,' he explained.

If he ultimately does not make it, Nico Guillen, Manu Bueno and Peque are the alternatives the coach is considering, with the possibility of moving Fofana back.

Sierra, Guridi and Isaac Romero: confirmed absences

Sevilla will face the match with three important absences: Miguel Sierra and Jon Guridi due to injury, and Isaac Romero due to suspension.

Sierra's injury will require surgery and will keep him out for several months, while Guridi leaves a major gap due to his versatility.

The good news is that Lucas Stassin is available again, after training practically normally.

Vargas, Ejuke and Alfon will get more opportunities

Luis Garcia Plaza pointed to Ruben Vargas, Chidera Ejuke and Alfon Gonzalez as the main candidates to cover Sierra's absence.

'I hope those three players take that step forward to cover Miguel's absence,' he said.

The coach also said that Vargas has trained very well this week and acknowledged that all three will also have to adapt to playing on the right flank, even if they are more comfortable on the left.

Luis Garcia Plaza praised the work of Robbie Ure, highlighting his ability to receive, hold the ball and link up with his team-mates.

'I think he is going to score more goals and the important thing is that he is doing a very good job,' he said.

With Isaac Romero suspended and Stassin just back from recovery, Ure presents himself as one of the main options to lead the Sevilla attack.

The coach also clarified the situation of Fabio Cardoso, whom he considers the final alternative at the heart of the defence.

Although he praised his professionalism, he acknowledged that he will have very few opportunities and that the best thing for the player would be to find a way out.
