The clash against Real Betis is getting closer and Raphinha wants to push his chances of being available. The Barcelona winger continues to make progress in his recovery and this Thursday could take an important step by featuring in part of the team session, a test that will allow his physical condition to be assessed ahead of the league match.

According to the information published by SPORT, the player has gradually increased the intensity of his individual training. During Barcelona's trip to Istanbul, the Brazilian used the time to keep up his specific work on the pitch and continue moving forward in his preparations.

The plan is for Raphinha to return to work with the rest of the squad this Thursday, although initially he could do it on a partial basis. The medical staff and the coaching team will check how he responds to the effort before deciding on the next steps.

Caution continues to guide his recovery. Despite the player's desire to return as soon as possible, the club does not want to take risks that could jeopardize his progress.

Raphinha's participation against Betis will depend on how he responds physically during training and on how he feels afterwards. His possible return to the group would be a positive development for Barcelona, but it would not amount to confirmation that he will be included in the squad for the match.

For now, the Barcelona still has the Brazilian winger as an open question. Thursday's session will give the coaching staff more information before deciding whether they can count on him for the Saturday game against the Betis.
