Rayo-Athletic will not be an extra matchday on Comunio and the scores will be updated

Finally, SofaScore has removed the ratings it initially assigned to the players from both teams. This means that no player from Rayo Vallecano or Athletic will score for the time being for this match.

The scores will be added once the remaining time of the match is played, the date of which is still unknown.

Why there will not be an extra matchday on Comunio?

Although Comunio rules include additional matchdays for certain postponed matches, on this occasion there is a key difference: Rayo-Athletic had already started before being suspended.

The match was interrupted after roughly 13 minutes of effective play had been completed. Therefore, this is not a match that was postponed before it began, but rather a game that will have to be restarted to complete the remaining minutes.

For this reason, Comunio will not enable an extra matchday and the final scores will continue to belong to matchday 8.

Will players have to be re-selected when the match resumes?

No. Users will not have to make any new line-up changes. Since the match remains within matchday 8, the line-ups that managers had configured for that matchday will be used.

Therefore, if a user had a player from Rayo Vallecano or Athletic in their line-up, they will receive the points they are due once the match is completed, as long as the player meets the necessary conditions to score.

In addition, it will not be necessary to keep the player in the squad until the restart. Even if they were sold later, the points will still go to the manager who had them in their line-up for matchday 8.

When will the points from Rayo-Athletic be added?

For now, there is no confirmed date for the restart of Rayo-Athletic. We will have to wait for the relevant authorities to determine when the remaining time will be played.

Once the match is finished and SofaScore's final ratings are available, Comunio will add the points corresponding to matchday 8, updating the accumulated points of the affected managers.
