Lucas Boyé and Koski available to face Atlético!

Deportivo Alavés

Deportivo Alavés will take on the eighth matchday of LaLiga with two recovered players. Lucas Boyé and Koski have been given the go-ahead to be included in the squad after a week marked by their physical discomfort. Now it will be Quique Sánchez Flores who decides how much of a role they will have against the rojiblanco side.

The main concern was the Argentine forward, who on Friday had to leave the final training session early due to some knee discomfort. His participation was in doubt, but the recovery has been positive and he will finally be available to the coach.

That does not mean he has a guaranteed starting spot. The coaching staff wants to see how Boyé responds before the match and will decide whether he is ready to play from the start or whether it is more convenient to hold him back as an option from the bench.

The possibility of managing his minutes remains on the table, especially after the setback suffered during the build-up to the game. The attacker represents one of Alavés' main attacking options, and the team will try to make the most of home advantage to secure a positive result against Atlético de Madrid.

The decision on whether he will be in the starting XI will be known in the moments leading up to the kick-off.

Koski will also be available. The centre-back has moved past the muscular problems he had been carrying in the quadriceps and is also included in the squad. Although it is still not confirmed what role he will play in this afternoon's match, everything points to him starting as a substitute.
