Osasuna confirms a new setback in attack

The Osasuna medical staff have added a new player to their list after tests carried out on Romain Del Castillo detected a minor issue in the left adductor. The player had felt discomfort during Wednesday's training session, which led to him undergoing a medical examination.

The examinations, carried out at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, have made it possible to determine the extent of the injury. Although the initial diagnosis does not point to a serious problem, the attacker will not be available to the coaching staff for the next competition fixture.

Del Castillo's absence forces Osasuna to adjust their attacking options as they host Real Betis this Sunday, in the match corresponding to matchday 8 of LaLiga.

The French winger is already doing individual recovery work under the supervision of the club's medical services.

For now, Osasuna has not set a specific date for his return. Del Castillo's rejoining of collective training will depend on how he responds to treatment and on how the discomfort evolves over the coming days.
