The diagnosis came after the Navarrese player underwent a magnetic resonance scan to determine the source and severity of his discomfort. The results confirmed a moderate muscle injury in the soleus of his left leg, as the Athletic Club has announced.

Although the Bilbao club has not set a specific return date and is keeping the player under observation, it is estimated that Sancet will be out for a minimum of two weeks.
