Sevilla FC is already preparing for next Monday's trip to Levante with several pieces still pending. Luis García Plaza has recovered players back in training, while Rubén Vargas continues to progress and Lucas Stassin is working to try to be ready in time for the match.

The build-up to the clash at the Ciutat de Valencia got underway with important movements in Sevilla's squad. Kochorashvili, Sangante and Odysseas Vlachodimos are already under the orders of Luis García Plaza after returning from their international commitments.

Two players are still to return. Robbie Ure and Gabriel Suazo are scheduled to rejoin the group this Thursday and, in principle, their later arrival should not prevent them from being available to face Levante. The coach still has four sessions to prepare a match in which Sevilla will be looking for three more points in LALIGA.

Another piece of news from the morning involved Rubén Vargas. The player continues to increase his workload progressively and once again completed training alongside the rest of his teammates.

Stassin races to make it for Monday

More doubts surround Lucas Stassin. The forward, who already missed the match against FC Barcelona due to injury, left the pitch work after the initial talk to carry out specific exercises in the gym. Iker Muñoz and Marcao also worked there.

Stassin now faces a race against the clock to try to be available on Monday. With four days still to go, it remains to be seen whether his progress will at least allow him to make Luis García Plaza's squad.

Marcao's situation is different. The centre-back will be sidelined for several weeks after the injury he suffered against Aston Villa, a new setback within a history marked by physical problems.

In his first season, he ended up suffering three injuries, racked up 208 days on the sidelines and missed 39 matches. The issues continued into the 2023/24 campaign: an injury in pre-season affected his start and, after recovering, he fell again just ten days later.

The Brazilian regained continuity and match rhythm after his January arrival, but he was injured again after the trip to Vallecas. Only during his first two years, he accumulated 370 days injured and 63 matches out, a difficult spell in which he also turned to sessions with a sports psychologist and a personal coach.
