DFIgor Zubeldia will not be available for the Euskal Herria Txapela final. The centre-back continues to work on the side due to his physical problems and will miss Friday's match against Athletic at Anoeta, scheduled for 19:00.
The defender has now missed three consecutive matches since he felt discomfort before the clash against Atlético de Madrid. Although he managed to rejoin the group, he again felt problems in the hamstring during a sprint and the coaching staff decided to extend his recovery.
Pellegrino Matarazzo's intention is that Zubeldia can be available for Deportivo on Sunday, October 11.
The absence leaves Real Sociedad with few options in central defence. Jon Martín and Mamadou Sarr are with their national teams, so Pacheco and Luken Beitia appear as the main choices. Matarazzo has also worked at Zubieta with the reserve team players Unax Ayo and Kazunari Kita.
