Javier Aguirre will have Ryunosuke Sato sooner than expected. The Valencia winger returns to Spain after the friendly Japan played against Venezuela and will be able to start working soon with the new Valencia coach.

The move has to do with the moment the club is going through. Valencia is facing a change on the bench and the arrival of Aguirre opens a new chapter for several players. Sato is one of them and the Japanese federation has decided to make his incorporation to the squad easier.

This is not due to an injury or any physical issue, as Japan has agreed to release the player after speaking with the player himself and with Valencia. The idea is simple: for him to start working with Aguirre as soon as possible and take advantage from day one of the new setup at Mestalla.

Starting spots

With Carlos Corberán he started in three of the first five league matchdays. After that, with Óscar Sánchez, his situation changed completely: he did not play a single minute in the two matches coached by the manager.

Aguirre takes charge of Valencia and Sato will have the chance to convince him directly during training. The early return also means he does not have to stay in Japan for another week before rejoining the club.

Starter against Venezuela

The Japanese decision comes after a match in which Sato did have a presence. The winger started against Venezuela, but he will miss the next game against Ecuador, scheduled for Thursday.

The Japan Football Federation is especially looking after the development of one of its young talents. Sato was the second-youngest player to debut for the country's senior national team, only behind Take Kubo, and his progress holds an important place in Japanese football.

The Mexican coach, knows Japanese football well after his time as the country's national team manager. Now he will have to work with one of the young internationals that Japan considers to have the most potential.

For Sato , this marks a new opportunity at Valencia. It is a deal agreed in advance so that the player can join the club's new chapter as soon as possible.
