DFLoren Juarros, the sporting director of Málaga, publicly confirmed last September 3 that the agreement for José Salinas includes the so-called «fear clause». This stipulation prevents the player from taking part against the club that loaned him out.
Salinas' situation does not apply to all the players who are on loan in the Andalusian squad. In his specific case, the clause does have effect and will stop him from playing minutes against Espanyol.
The left-back, who belongs to the blanquiazul side, will therefore miss the next match despite the importance he has been gaining within the plans of La Rosaleda's team.
