Bad news for the Racing de Santander and for the managers who were counting on Pedro Felipe to recover. The Brazilian defender has again suffered muscular problems during the match against FC Barcelona and was unable to finish the game.

The centre-back had recently returned after overcoming a microrupture of fibers in the right thigh hamstrings suffered on the opening matchday against Villarreal. After several weeks out, he made a comeback with a few minutes against Alavés, and José Alberto decided to give him a start against the Blaugrana side.

The return to the starting XI could not have been more disastrous. Pedro Felipe was involved in both penalties committed by Racing in the first half. The first came after a challenge on Raphinha and, later, he was again punished with a maximum penalty for an incident involving Adeyemi.

To make matters worse, physical issues resurfaced in the second half. The Brazilian ended up having to leave the pitch due to muscular discomfort, setting off all the alarms in the Cantabrian camp.
