The player has been increasing his involvement in collective training over the past few days, with a positive progression in the right rib contusion he suffered on August 31 against Athletic Club. The injury already kept him out of the matches against Real Sociedad and Getafe.

Despite those advances, Febas also was unable to complete this Friday's training session with his teammates at the Cidade Deportiva Afouteza. The penultimate session before the match again left his physical condition as one of Claudio Giráldez's main unresolved issues.

The Celta will take on Málaga this Sunday at 14:00 hours at Balaídos, but the squad list will still depend on what happens in the final preparation session.

A final session before knowing the squad

Febas will have this Saturday a new chance to move his recovery forward. The Celta will then carry out their final training session before the match, after the midfielder has worked partially with the group but still has not yet completed a session at the same level as his teammates.

It will be that workday that will allow them to check whether the player can take the final step and make Claudio Giráldez's squad, or whether, on the contrary, he ends up left out of the squad again.
