The Real Madrid host the Rayo after dealing with the first Champions match reasonably well against the Inter de Milán. 

For this game against the Rayo side, Mourinho could make changes compared to the proposed lineup to face the Italian team. 

The main doubts lie in the defensive area between Dumfries and Trent, Cucurella and Carreras and Rüdiger and Konaté. The rest of the lineup looks fairly predictable, although we are never safe from surprises with the Portuguese coach.

With the shot of confidence provided by the comeback against Racing, but with plenty of absences. That is how the Rayo visit, not counting the eternal off-field problems, the Bernabéu with an improvised XI. 

The suspensions confirmed for De Frutos and Fran Pérez are added to the absences of Vertrouwd, Nteka, Luiz Felipe, Isi and the long-term absence of Batalla. Balliu is trying to make it after an ankle problem. The good news is Kumbulla, who has already trained normally and is available again.

Regarding the possible XI, Camello, Álvaro García, Unai López, Óscar Valentín, Lejeune and Pathé Ciss are showing up with plenty of strength. The big puzzle is on the right flank due to the suspensions: we are backing Tsitaishvili, while other outlets are considering alternatives with Pedro Díaz or Balliu if he is fit in time for the match. There is also an important doubt in goal between Cárdenas and Audero.
