Sevilla - Valencia
Match date: 11/09-21:00
Sevilla FC
This team means business.
Back to the Sánchez-Pizjuán after it has been made clear that the Sevilla are back to stay. A fantastic summer transfer window, a coach with the ideas very clear, and a group that reminds us again of “they say they never give up” make up the perfect mix to get excited about the rebirth of a fallen giant.
That said, it is time to keep both feet on the ground. Seven out of twelve points invite optimism, especially considering the way the team has collected them and where they come from, but there is still a long way to go and the excitement should not be confused with euphoria.
This time, they will have to face another historic side from LaLiga that, off the pitch, can end up feeling like looking into a mirror because of its most uncomfortable similarities.
Two big names in our football, looking to rise again and recover past glories, meet in a clash of contrasts. The Sevilla side will try to establish themselves in the top spots of the table, while Valencia will be looking for their first win of the season after three straight defeats that leave them as the red lantern of the competition.
Emotion is guaranteed in a duel where Luis García Plaza will fight to keep the good run going and Corberán to get closer, at least, to something like it.

Valencia CF
After yet another farce of the Peter Lim era, Valencia visit Sánchez Pizjuán with their ideas clear. After the rumours of a possible sacking of the coach following a poor result in Sevilla, it is quite likely that the squad will decide to finish making the coach's bed for his exit from the club.
With the negligent performance of the medical and fitness staff in just 4 matchdays, Valencia arrive with 7 players injured. The expectation is that the defense will be the same five-man line as against Barcelona, with Pepelu pushing his position back again after another new injury for Diakhaby. In midfield, alongside Javi and Ugrinic, Elliot starts with options to be in the starting XI and bring a bit of life to this dead team. In attack, 2 spots for 4 possible players: Sato, Otorbi, Hugo and Danjuma
We will see what setup Talibán Corberán comes out with, in which all Valencia fans hope it is his last match. Another matchday, this humble servant does not recommend starting absolutely anyone from the che squad.
