Bad news with Diakhaby's injury
Valencia add yet another concern at the start of a season already marked by physical problems. Mouctar Diakhaby is experiencing discomfort in his adductor and the first observations point to a possible muscle tear, although he will still need to undergo further tests to determine the definitive diagnosis.

DFThe club's medical staff is already seriously affecting the work of Carlos Corberan. With the eight absences currently affecting the Valencia squad, the Guinean centre-back could be added to the list, becoming the ninth injured player in the squad if the tests confirm the muscle problem.
For now, the club must wait for the new medical examinations. The first estimates put Diakhaby's possible recovery period at around a month, but that timeline cannot yet be considered definitive and will depend on the exact extent of the adductor injury.
The medical staff's impact on Corberan
The Valencia coach already has numerous absences at this point in the campaign. Copete, De Haas, Guido Rodrguez, Foulquier, Canos, Luis Rioja, Diego Lpez and Umar Sadiq currently make up the list of injured players, pending confirmation of what ultimately happens with Diakhaby.
