The German coach explained that the partial absence of the Spanish international was simply due to a knock and has conveyed calm about his physical condition: «Lamine took a knock, but trained and is fine».

Flick even went further when talking about his availability for this round's fixture: «Tomorrow he will travel and he can play». That means that, barring any last-minute setback, Lamine Yamal will be available to face Valencia and once again has plenty of options to be part of the starting XI.

The news completely changes the picture after the doubts raised during the morning by his work away from the group. It would not be a major injury and the coach himself confirms that the player is fit to compete.
