The trip to Mestalla, with the only injury absences being Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji, is approached with optimism but with the European debut just around the corner, something that could slightly affect an XI that should again be built around the first-choice defense due to Éric's suspension in Europe, and in which Rodri could make his debut for Pedri or Bernal; up front, Gordon would have plenty of numbers to rest, and in the rest of the positions, no major changes are expected.
