Elche host this Monday the Real Sociedad at the Martínez Valero with the need to respond after a difficult start. Martín Anselmi's side have managed only one point in the first three matchdays and come off a 3-2 defeat to Racing de Santander, a game in which a poor first half ultimately proved decisive despite the franjiverde comeback after the break.

Anselmi could introduce several changes to the starting XI.
