The advance match of matchday six sees Real Sociedad take on Celta in a clash shaped by the demanding European schedule of both sides.

After an unpleasant start that included two straight defeats , Real Sociedad reacted in time with the 2-1 win over Espanyol, a success that helped ease the pressure, secure the first three points and set the team back on track.

The priority is to confirm that improvement and make the most of home advantage to establish themselves in the top half of the table and avoid repeating past mistakes.  Matarazzo has been sending signals about which could be his most trusted men, although he has been forced to rotate the squad match after match. Ahead of this game, no major surprises are expected in the starting XI.

R.C. Celta de Vigo

Real Club Celta's journey in this early stage of the league campaign could, for now, be described as a reality check. The visitors do not know what a win is in these first three matchdays, after an initial draw against Valencia and two defeats at home against Osasuna and Athletic.

Preseason had pointed in the right direction , but once the official matches began, a certain lack of attacking effectiveness has come to the fore - 1 goal (from the usual one) in 3 matches - along with crude defensive errors and issues in building play from the back.

Even though the season has barely started and key pieces still need to be recovered (Borja Iglesias) and late signings q that look set to be important (Driouech & Sebastián Cáceres) because they can bed in, start to generate positive feelings - and above all points - is vital.

Getting a good result from such a demanding setting as Anoeta would provide that confidence boost needed to start to take off.

There are plenty of doubts in the XI. In defence, Marcos Alonso and Javi Rodríguez are the ones we dare to name as the sure bets. In midfield, Miguel Román. should appear, while up front there are too many open options, with Jutglá expected to be the reference point in the Celta attack.

Alex Febas will be a late absentee.
