The absences of Oso and Rubén Vargas will force Luis García Plaza to change his attacking line against Atletico de Madrid. The press largely agrees on the starting XI, although there are differences at right-back, in the midfield , and in the replacement for the academy player on the left wing.

Sevilla FC

Sevilla FC host Atletico de Madrid this Saturday with the aim of extending their magnificent start to the season. The Nervion side have collected six points from six possible, but they will face their first major test of the campaign with a squad once again shaped by the transfer market.

Oso is no longer available after his move to Strasbourg was confirmed, while Rubén Vargas has been left out of the squad as his future is resolved. Alfon González returns to the list, although Luis García Plaza has acknowledged that he is only ready to play a few minutes.

A block of eight players that everyone agrees on

The forecasts consulted point to a fairly clear base. Vlachodimos, Sangante, Kike Salas, Gabriel Suazo, Agoumé, Guridi, Miguel Sierra and Robbie Ure appear in all the line-ups, although the position of the Basque midfielder could vary depending on the system chosen.

Kike Salas would directly regain his starting spot after serving his suspension, forming a centre-back partnership with Sangante. Up front, Agoumé continues to be the most unquestioned player in the engine room, while Miguel Sierra would keep his place on the right flank.

Diario de Sevilla backs Julio Díaz as a winger

Diario de Sevilla believes Juan Iglesias will be fit in time to take the right-back spot. In midfield, it would keep Agoumé and Guridi, with Peque playing just in front.

The main new element would be on the left wing, where Julio Díaz would get his first start as a Sevilla player. The player would operate in a more advanced position, leaving the full-back role to Gabriel Suazo.

Diario de Sevilla XI: Vlachodimos; Juan Iglesias, Sangante, Kike Salas, Suazo; Agoumé, Guridi, Peque; Miguel Sierra, Julio Díaz and Robbie Ure.

ElDesmarque brings in Carmona and Kochorashvili

ElDesmarque offers a slightly more conservative approach. The Sevilla midfielder puts José Ángel Carmona at right-back due to the doubts surrounding Juan Iglesias's physical condition.

It also introduces Kochorashvili alongside Agoumé, pushing Guridi forward. That way, Peque would be the big casualty in an XI designed to strengthen the midfield and compete with more muscle against Atletico.

ElDesmarque also matches Diario de Sevilla in placing Julio Díaz on the left.

ElDesmarque XI: Vlachodimos; Carmona, Sangante, Kike Salas, Suazo; Agoumé, Kochorashvili; Miguel Sierra, Guridi, Julio Díaz and Robbie Ure.

Cadena SER pick Ejuke as Oso's replacement

The main difference in Cadena SER's forecast is in attack. Its choice to occupy the left wing is Chidera Ejuke, who scored at San Mamés after coming on from the bench.

SER keeps Juan Iglesias at right-back and retains the midfield trio of Agoumé, Guridi and Peque. Robbie Ure would again be the attacking reference ahead of Isaac Romero.

Cadena SER XI: Vlachodimos; Juan Iglesias, Sangante, Kike Salas, Suazo; Agoumé, Guridi, Peque; Miguel Sierra, Ejuke and Robbie Ure.

The key last-minute points from Estadio Deportivo

Estadio Deportivo has not yet published a fully confirmed XI, but its latest information highlights several important points. Juan Iglesias is recovered from the heavy knock he suffered in Bilbao, Kike Salas returns after suspension, and both Oso and Rubén Vargas will be absent.

In addition, Luis García Plaza has publicly acknowledged that Julio Díaz can play ahead of Gabriel Suazo, a possibility that reinforces Diario de Sevilla and ElDesmarque's predictions.

The three doubts in Sevilla's XI

The first uncertainty is at right-back. Juan Iglesias is listed as the favourite, but his limited work during the week keeps Carmona as a genuine alternative.

The second is in midfield. Peque offers more creativity between the lines, while the introduction of Kochorashvili would allow Sevilla to field a more physical team and move Guridi into the number ten role.

Finally, Julio Díaz and Ejuke compete for the spot left vacant by Oso. Julio Díaz's versatility and defensive work seem to give him a slight edge, especially against an opponent with very attacking full-backs.

The possible Sevilla XI in Comuniate

Based on the week's news, Luis García Plaza's comments and the consensus among the different outlets, our main bet is as follows:

Vlachodimos; Juan Iglesias, Sangante, Kike Salas, Gabriel Suazo; Agoumé, Guridi; Miguel Sierra, Peque, Ejuke/Julio Díaz; and Robbie Ure.

If Juan Iglesias is not ready to start the match, Carmona would take the right-back spot. Ejuke is the most attacking option for the left wing, while Kochorashvili could come in if Luis García Plaza decides to reinforce the midfield against Atletico's side.
