DLThe final training session before the match at Mestalla left several positive notes for Manuel Pellegrini. Troy Parrot took part in the session and everything points to the possibility that he could see his first minutes in the verdiblanco shirt in the game against the Valencia.
Ez Abde and José Antonio Morante also returned to the group dynamic. They had been absent from the league opener against Real Sociedad at La Cartuja, which ended in a 1-0 Betis win thanks to Riquelme's goal. Both had already trained on Sunday in a closed-door session, and this Monday they repeated normally with the rest of the squad.
Not everything was about returns at the Real Betis. Giovani Lo Celso, Aitor Ruibal, Gonzalo Petit and Diego Conde trained separately and will not be available for Pellegrini for the Mestalla fixture.
The progress of Conde left a somewhat more positive impression within the bounds of caution. The goalkeeper worked on the pitch with the conditioning coach Javier Fernández and, during the portion open to the media, carried out light goalkeeping drills. His movements were controlled and he only went to the right side, since the injury affects his left shoulder.
Pablo García also completed training with his teammates after his move to Hull City was put on hold. Talks are not considered closed, although the English club has stepped up its efforts for other young attackers, including Ali-Cho, from Nice, and Ilias Ansah, from Union Berlin.
