Driouech increasingly close to Celta de Vigo
The absence of Couhaib Driouech from PSV's squad for their clash with FC Groningen has fueled the sense that his departure is imminent. The winger is negotiating the final details with Celta, who already have a verbal agreement in place with the Dutch club for a fee close to eight million euros.

The move is still not officially closed. According to information from Mounir Boualin, an agreement between the clubs exists, but some aspects of the player's contract still need to be finalized, including the length of his deal with the Galician club. After that, Driouech will have to undergo the medical check before being announced as the new Celeste player.
The Celta have taken the lead in an operation in which the Rangers also showed up. The Scottish club were close to moving for the winger, but ended up holding back due to doubts related to his physical condition.
The Rangers pulled away due to physical concerns
The concern within the Scottish side centered on a muscle injury in the thigh, with fears that Driouech might need at least another six weeks to recover. That uncertainty weighed on the Rangers' decision, who stepped aside from the race for the player.
At PSV, meanwhile, the winger has continued working normally with the group during training. That detail appears to have eased some of the doubts about his physical condition, although the medical check will be the decisive step before completing his move to Vigo.
The verbal agreement between Celta and PSV leaves the deal well advanced. The final details with the player still need to be ironed out, and it must be confirmed that he is fit to join the Celeste project before a transfer is formalized that would be around eight million euros.
