Valencia finally have their right-back
Valencia CF has activated an alternative in the face of difficulties in completing the signing of Arnau Martínez. The Che side has reached an agreement to secure the services of the Spanish-Argentine full-back, who arrives at Mestalla on a loan.

The main question will be who will be his competition for the spot. Foulquier is clearly behind in the pecking order and, a priori, appears to be the last option, while the club continues working on the signing of Arnau Martínez.
The arrival of the Catalan could completely change the picture. In a four-defender system, Arnau could become the main candidate for a starting spot and push Maffeo to the bench. On the other hand, if Carlos Corberán opts for a five-man back line, both could have a place in the starting XI: Maffeo as a wing-back and Arnau occupying the right side of the defensive line.
