New set-piece statistics in every match

In the match profiles, you will find a new dedicated section called Set Pieces, where you can see which footballers have had the biggest involvement in this type of action.

The available information will include:

• Taken corners: total number of corner kicks executed by each player.
• Delivered corners: how many of those corners were sent directly into the area.
• Short corners: corner kicks played via a short pass.
• Taken fouls: total number of fouls executed by the player.
• Delivered fouls: deliveries sent into the area or played long.
• Direct fouls: shots taken directly at goal from a free-kick.
• Short free-kicks: tactical actions started via a short pass.
• Goals from direct free-kicks: to also see who is converting this type of attempt.
• Taken penalties: with the breakdown of the spot-kicks from the eleven-meter mark.
• Penalties scored, missed and saved: differentiating the outcome of the kick whenever the match information allows it.

In addition, you can click on each footballer to access their match information and statistics.

The improvement is not limited to matches. In the profiles of all teams, we have added a specific access point to set-piece statistics.

From this new section, you can quickly look up the players with the most real involvement during the season in three different categories: free-kicks, corners and penalties.

The players will be listed according to the recorded attempts, showing their accumulated statistics. This way, you can check, for example, who is taking the most free-kicks, who is responsible for their team''s corners, who is trying more direct attempts, or who is in charge of penalties.

A new tool to improve your fantasy signings

Knowing the set-piece specialists can be a major advantage when it comes to going to the market. A midfielder who takes most of his team''s corners and fouls may have far more chances to generate assists, chances and fantasy points than another player with an apparently similar role.

The same applies to the takers of direct free-kicks and, especially, to the players responsible for penalties, one of the actions with the greatest ability to change the outcome of a gameweek.
