The deal proposed by the British club would have an initial phase in the form of a loan, with a payment of 1 million pounds, and a mandatory purchase option set at 14 million pounds. Converted into euros, the move would come to roughly 17.5 million euros.

The interest comes after a very eye-catching start to the campaign for Roberto Fernández. The forward scored a brace against Levante and, for the time being, moved into the position of LaLiga's top scorer. His performances have not gone unnoticed by Hull City, which is looking to strengthen its squad with a view to staying in the top flight in England.

The striker is under contract with Espanyol until 2031. According to the information published, Hull City has also put a three-season contract on the table, with a salary between 4 and 5 million pounds, a figure higher than his current earnings.

Roberto arrived at the Pericos in January 2025 on loan from Sporting de Braga. The club then exercised the purchase option, valued at 6.2 million euros, last summer. If the move to Hull City were to be completed, it would represent a significant profit for Espanyol's accounts.

Hull City is also keeping an eye on Yeremay

The move for Roberto Fernández coincides with Hull City's interest in Yeremay Hernández. The Canary Islands winger from Dépor was seen in the English city visiting the club's facilities, although his future is still not decided.

Acun Ilicali, president of Hull City, spoke publicly about the player's situation: "Yeremay wants to come, but it's a vital decision for him". The English club is preparing a major offer in an attempt to complete the signing.

Yeremay, meanwhile, has trained with Dépor to prepare for the next match against Málaga. The latest reports suggest the player still has doubts about the decision he has to make and has not told the Galician club that he wants to leave, so his arrival in the Premier League is not yet closed.
