Kiko Femenía will be suspended due to a ban, and Uche and Juanmi are also ruled out with injuries. The question mark is Mario Martín, who was forced off with discomfort at Mendizorroza, so it is possible he will rest for the European match.

A back five gives the defense a boost, with Andrés García and Mojica at full-back and two forwards. Watch out for the rotations.

Real Racing Club Santander

The Racing de Santander approaches this second matchday with good feelings after a very positive debut against Villarreal. The Cantabrian side earned a draw (2-2) at El Sardinero, but left an especially encouraging impression, going toe-to-toe with a top-level opponent and showing that they can give it a fight in their return to the top flight.

Now the team will have to prove that those good feelings can also travel well away from El Sardinero. The goal will be to maintain the intensity, personality and competitive ability shown in the first matchday and to go back in search of another positive result.
