The new world champion kicks off his league campaign after the matchday 1 game was postponed; he will do it in front of his fans and against a Sevilla that, despite the win over the Rayo, did not leave very good feelings. A game with few goal-scoring chances is expected, with a home side that is quite solid defensively; we are looking for a clean sheet.

Another one making his debut this campaign after the pitch problem at the Estadio Abanca Balaídos is Osasuna, and he does it against a Levante that does not look very good after the beating suffered on the first matchday. Bretones will, in principle, be the left-back of trust during 2026/27 for Ramis, and the red-and-gold side is a very solid team at the back.

The blue-and-black side did not get the dream start and were thrashed on Alavés ' ground, but the result was quite misleading given the 2 goals conceded in stoppage time after they pushed forward in search of the equalizer. The clash against the Racing de Santander should show a greater control of the game from the hosts, and in those tasks Terrats has the upper hand.

Risky to recommend 1 player for matchday 2 when he has not yet played his match from matchday 1, but I’m taking the gamble. The game between the newly promoted sides could be tipped by Chupe, last season at La Rosaleda, when the Galician side received a brace from the winger.
