Deportivo - Elche
Match date: 17/08-21:00
Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña
The stars' league returns to Riazor and Depor is ready, with a well-structured backbone from last season and an excellent transfer market.
Not everyone will be able to make their debut this Monday Altimira and Asp Jensen, who both have injuries from pre-season, have few options of making it and if they do, they will not get out of the game. To these absences we add the flagship of this team yeremay, who continues with a conservative process with his pubalgia; he could still play some minutes despite the lack of competitive rhythm, but his starting spot will have to wait.
On the positive side, Mella and Loureiro are back from their injuries, but they are still in the middle of their recovery, meaning their inclusion in the starting XI looks complicated.
The veteran Aubameyang and the young Bil Nsongo up front have cemented their partnership. Another well-matched duo, Soriano and Amatucci, will run the show in midfield for the Coruña side, while Luismi looks set to be the link-up man this matchday. The ever-present captain Villares will be tasked with providing solidity.
In the defensive area, the new signing Leo Román will take charge in goal with Noubi and Ede ahead of him; at full-back, Ximo and Quagliata start with an advantage.

Elche C.F.
Elche begin a new chapter with Martín Anselmi on the bench, and they do it by visiting Riazor against a newly promoted Deportivo that will try to make things difficult for them on their return to LaLiga. The franjiverde side arrive after a positive pre-season, with good feelings especially in attack.
The starting XI looks fairly well defined in defense: Dituro, Affengruber, Chust and Germán Valera are the biggest certainties, with Sangaré also having an edge to get in. The final spot is between Bigas and Redondo, after the captain had been carrying some issues, although he has already rejoined the group.
In midfield, Villar and Aguado start with an advantage, while higher up there is plenty of competition between Houary, Diangana and Buonanotte for the same area, pending the physical condition of the Congolese player. Up front, Fer Niño retains a slight edge over Umaru, the reserve-team striker.
