Lack of minutes for Yeremay Hernández keeps the question open over his role in the first matchday. The winger has moved past the physical problems that affected him over the past few months, although the coaching staff have still not given him any playing time in the friendlies before the start of the competition.

This situation fuels uncertainty about a possible starting spot in the league opener. If he ultimately does not come into the starting XI, Mella or Luismi appears as the alternative to take his place.

While his competitive status is resolved, the Deportivo also has the future of one of its most important players on the table. After the promotion, Yeremay has a release clause set between the 100 and 150 million euros, a figure confirmed by Massimo Benassi, the general manager of the Coruñes club.

The club maintains its confidence

The aim of the Deportivo camp is for the attacker to stay, at least, one more season in A Coruña. At Riazor they value his progress and see him as a key piece within the project, although an off-market offer and the player's own wishes could change the scenario.

For now, Yeremay is comfortable in the city and does not consider changing teams. His latest campaign, with 11 goals and 10 assists in 39 matches, has attracted interest from several major clubs in Europe.
