Comunidad, Biwenger and Fantasy goalkeeper guide 2026/27: starters, doubts and recommendations. Updated after the first international break
Goalkeeping is usually one of the easiest positions to fill in Fantasy, but it is also one of the most full of traps during the preseason. A cheap goalkeeper with a lot of work can outperform another from a big club, while an unexpected competition can turn a good investment into a problem from matchday one.
The first seven matchdays have clarified many LaLiga goalkeeping situations, although some are still a headache for Fantasy managers.
Álvaro Valles has become one of the surprises of the competition; Julen Agirrezabala and Alfonso Herrero are racking up saves, while in Osasuna and Villarreal it is still hard to make a safe bet.
Deportivo Alavés

PTAntonio Sivera is still a guarantee for Alavés. He stands out for his reflexes and for the speed with which he reacts to close-range shots, two qualities that have helped him collect 23 saves at this start of the season. Jesús Owono continues as an alternative, but there are no signs of a change in the starting spot.

Bayındır remains an important contender, although for now he has not managed to displace him.

It does not look like he will lose his place immediately; the risk is more in the medium and long term if he does not improve his output.

Neither offers the kind of security you would want when signing a Fantasy goalkeeper.

Rayo Vallecano
Augusto Batalla's injury forced Rayo to look for solutions. Dani Cárdenas played first, but Emil Audero has now linked three starts and is currently ahead. Audero stands out for his size and for his response in shots from inside the area. His main problem for Fantasy is not his qualities, but the uncertainty that Batalla's return will bring.

Real Madrid C.F.

Luiz Júnior started the campaign as the starter, but Pét er Gulácsi has strung together three league matches since the start and is now ahead in the pecking order of Íñigo Pérez. The Hungarian brings experience, good positioning and calm to manage moments of pressure. Those are qualities that have helped him gain ground, although Luiz Júnior is still in the fight and Gulácsi's advantage needs to be confirmed after the break.
