Enes Unal appears on Sevilla's radar

The Sevilla are still active in the transfer market in search of the striker Luis García Plaza is looking for, and in recent hours a well-known name in LaLiga has gained momentum: Enes Ünal. The Bournemouth forward is among the options being considered by the sporting directorate, which has already made an initial approach to find out his situation.

At 29 years old, the Turkish international wants to return to Spanish football after his spell in England. His desire to go back to LaLiga makes for a deal that, for now, is at a very early stage, although the interest from the Seville club is genuine. It will not be a straightforward negotiation, since Alavés and Getafe are also keeping a close eye on his future.

After spells at Villarreal, Levante, Valladolid and, above all, Getafe, he knows the competition inside out and has shown that he can perform as a reference striker. At the blue-and-white club, he enjoyed his best seasons, with a performance that led the Bournemouth to invest 16.5 million euros to sign him.

His profile fits what Sevilla want because he is a powerful forward, capable of playing with his back to goal, holding up centre-backs and creating danger inside the box. A kind of '9' who can bring physical presence and solutions in attack from day one, exactly what the coaching staff are looking for.

What is more, the good relationship between Sevilla and Bournemouth, who are negotiating the transfer of Juanlu Sánchez,  and at this point, there are already reports that say it is done, could help the two clubs make contact. While the deal for David Romero is moving forward with more difficulties, the Enes Ünal route is gaining weight as an alternative with fewer uncertainties and more guarantees of an immediate impact.
