Bad news for Raúl Asencio and for the coaching staff at Real Madrid. The medical tests carried out during the morning of this Thursday have confirmed that the Canary Islands defender has a muscle injury in the rectus femoris of the right leg.

The statement released by the white club does not specify the exact severity of the injury or set an approximate timeline for his return:

“After the tests carried out today on our player Raúl Asencio by the Medical Services of Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the rectus femoris of the right leg. Pending further assessment”.
