No to Real Madrid from Bastoni's agent

The future of Alessandro Bastoni does not point to Real Madrid. Although the Italian centre-back is among the names most liked to strengthen the white defence, his representative has made it clear that he is not considering a change of scenery this summer.

Tullio Tinti, the player's agent, said in statements to Sky Italia that "Bastoni is fully committed to Inter of Milan". "He still has two years left on his contract, he is an Inter fan and he is very much in love with the club. He is not thinking about leaving for another team", he said, ruling out any possibility of a move for now.

At the Santiago Bernabeu they are keeping an eye on the centre-back market, but the priority comes first with resolving the situation of Raúl Asencio. Until there is a departure in that position, the club has no plans to make any move to bring in another defender.

Bastoni, 27 years old, has been established for several seasons as one of the best centre-backs in Serie A thanks to his ball-playing ability, his capacity to defend in open field and his leadership.
