Dani Ceballos receives a formal offer from Ajax while watching Betis

The situation of the former Real Madrid player is still open and with several fronts active. So far, there have been feelers, calls and interest from different clubs, including teams from Turkey or Atlético de Madrid, but the Dutch side has been the first to turn that monitoring into a formal proposal.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Ajax has already submitted its offer to the player's representatives. The Amsterdam club does not want to wait around while other routes move forward, and is trying to convince a player who, for now, does not seem particularly drawn to the option of playing in Holland.

Neither the arrival of Míchel on the bench nor the presence of players such as Ter Stegen in goal would have changed Ceballos' position too much. In his camp, they insist that his priority continues to be returning to wear the Betis shirt, a desire that is nothing new and that is once again setting the pace of his market.

The problem, for the moment, lies in how the deal would fit together. The first contacts would not have left the midfielder with the feelings he was hoping for, especially due to significant financial differences.
