The Deportivo are negotiating the signings of Lorenzo Amatucci and Domingos Duarte after closing the deal for Leo Román. One agreement is already in place and the other is moving forward

Real Club Deportivo de la Coruña

The Deportivo de la Coruña do not want to settle for the signing of Leo Román. The Galician club remains very active in the market and is working to land two more additions that would strengthen the midfield and the defense ahead of their return to LaLiga.

Lorenzo Amatucci

The Italian midfielder has already reached a verbal agreement with the Deportivo and now the only thing left is to resolve the negotiations with the Fiorentina, who own his rights. Talks between the two clubs are well advanced and there is confidence that the deal can be wrapped up in the coming days.

Amatucci, 22 years old, comes after completing a high-level season at UD Las Palmas, where he played on loan. He featured in 42 of the 44 matches in LaLiga Hypermotion and was one of the team’s most important pieces thanks to his consistency and his ability to adapt to different tactical setups. His development has also boosted his market value, making another loan practically impossible and forcing the Deportivo to negotiate a transfer with Fiorentina, with whom he has a contract until 2028.

Depor are also looking to strengthen the back line and have set their sights on Domingos Duarte. The Portuguese center-back is available after finishing his contract with the Getafe last July 1, and he is one of the preferred options to bolster the defense.

Negotiations between the Deportivo and the player are progressing along the right lines and there is optimism that the deal can be closed. Duarte had already been on the club’s radar in previous transfer windows, and now the situation is much more favorable thanks to arriving without a transfer fee.

The Portuguese international would arrive at Riazor after four seasons at Getafe. Since joining the Madrid club in the 2022-23 campaign, he played 113 official matches between LaLiga and the Copa del Rey, in addition to scoring three goals, establishing himself as one of the defensive benchmarks of the blue-and-burgundy side.
