Bryan Zaragoza looks to Martiricos to relaunch his career
Bryan Zaragoza is back on the Malaga radar in a market that has changed completely since Malaga CF's promotion to LaLiga. The winger belongs to Bayern Munich, with a contract running until 2029, but he finds it difficult to carve out a place for himself in the German side.
Málaga Club de Fútbol
The player's willingness is the key starting point. As Radio MARCA Malaga has reported, Bryan Zaragoza would be willing to play the 26/27 season at Malaga CF, a possibility that is gaining momentum thanks to the sporting side and also to the player's emotional connection to the club in his home town.
The promotion of the boqueron side has put Malaga CF in a much more ambitious transfer-market scenario. This new reality has brought bigger names onto the scene, and among them stands out Bryan, who on different occasions has publicly shown his affection for the Martiricos outfit.
His situation at Bayern Munich suggests looking for a route that would allow him to regain prominence. The attacker believes that competing for minutes in Germany will be a demanding task and thinks Malaga could offer him the right setting to show again the level he already demonstrated in Spain.
A career shaped by club changes
The Granada winger comes after several seasons with a lot of movement. His breakthrough came in the Granada side during the 2023/24 campaign, when he became one of LaLiga's most game-changing players thanks to his pace, his dribbling, and his ability to create danger in one-on-one situations. That performance opened the door to the Bayern, although adapting to German football proved difficult and he had little continuity.
He then returned to LaLiga on loan at Osasuna, where he showed flashes of quality, although his numbers were more restrained in goals and assists. In the most recent season, he went on two more loans: first at Celta and later at Roma.
The Malaga CF were already able to bring Bryan back during his youth stage, but the then sporting leadership, led by Manolo Gaspar, did not consider the deal advisable. Now, even though the player will have many proposals on the table, his plan is to wear the Malaga shirt and play in Martiricos.
