Celta, forced to sell to balance the books

Celta reaches the end of the season with a serious problem, balancing the numbers. President Marían Mouriño made it clear, "the club needs to earn around 15-16 million euros before June 30 in order not to end up in the red. It is not a dramatic situation, but it does force decisions to be made in the market."

The good news for the club is that the amount has decreased compared to what was expected at the start of the season, thanks to strong performances in the League and in Europe, as well as some deals already closed. Even so, the final economic push is still missing, which will likely come from a major sale.
