David Affengruber has become one of the biggest surprises of the season in LaLiga. The 25-year-old Austrian central defender has quickly gone from being a low-profile signing for Elche to becoming one of the most watched defenders in half of Europe. And it’s no surprise, because his level this season has been truly outstanding.
