Real Sociedad arrives at the match still with the emotional hangover from the Cup. After touching glory just a few weeks ago, the team has dropped intensity significantly in the league, and the 1-0 loss to Sevilla FC raised doubts due to the lack of rhythm and ambition.

Real Betis, on the other hand, arrives at Anoeta in a stronger moment. Pellegrini's men compete better and concede little. The context suggests a uncomfortable match for Real Sociedad.

The key will be the attitude with which the txuri-urdin team starts. If they maintain the level of disconnection seen in Sevilla, Betis can take advantage. But if Real Sociedad reconnects in front of their fans, they have enough talent to react.

Betis arrives in a better moment and with fifth place as the main goal: they come off a win against Oviedo and face Anoeta with a margin over their pursuers, in a match that can go a long way to securing their European position.

Pellegrini has a fairly clean injury report: the main absences are Marc Bartra and Ángel Ortiz, both out, while Junior Firpo is already training normally. There are no suspensions after the last match, despite several players being cautioned. 

The starting eleven looks quite recognizable: Álvaro Valles in goal, defense with Bellerín, Llorente, Natan and Ricardo Rodríguez, double support with Amrabat-Fornals, and up front lots of continuity with Antony, Abde and Cucho Hernández. The main doubt is in the interior/enganche role: Diario de Sevilla sees Lo Celso starting, while other predictions open the door to Fidalgo, Marc Roca or Altimira.
