FIRST HALF

In the 7th minute, Real Betis went ahead on the scoreboard. After a great run by Héctor Bellerín down the right wing, he delivered an excellent pass to Abde, who faced the goal defended by Sergio Herrera and, with a powerful right-footed shot, scored the 0-1.

However, in the 37th minute, Osasuna found the equalizer. After a great corner kick taken by Rubén García, Ante Budimir struck first-time and his header was saved with a spectacular stop. On the rebound, Jorge Herrando tried to shoot, but was brought down by Bellerín, and the referee did not hesitate to point to the penalty spot.

Right after the second half began, both Osasuna and Real Betis made substitutions looking for a new spark.

In the 55th minute, the red team came close to a comeback. Víctor Muñoz tried a powerful shot from outside the box aiming for the top corner of the goal guarded by Álvaro Valles, but the Canarian goalkeeper again appeared with a saving hand to send the ball out for a corner.

Soon after, Osasuna insisted down the left wing. Aimar Oroz made a great run to the byline and, with a smart back pass, found Víctor Muñoz in a perfect position. His well-directed shot created danger, but the action was invalidated when the ball was unintentionally deflected by Ante Budimir after hitting his leg.

Later on, the team led by Lisci appealed for another penalty after Aimar Oroz fell inside the area, although the referee judged the action to be clean and decided not to award anything.

In the final ten minutes, Abde tried his luck with a long-range shot, but his strike, too central, was comfortably cleared by Sergio Herrera.

Beyond the chances and controversies, the score did not change and the match ended in a draw, with both teams sharing the points.
