Kylian Mbappé took advantage of a promotional event in France to put an end to rumors about his physical condition. The forward assured that the sprain in his left knee no longer affects him and he feels ready to compete normally.

Mbappé is already with the French national team during the international window, with two friendlies ahead. This Thursday they face Brazil, with Vinicius and Endrick called up, and on Sunday they will play another preparation match in the United States against Colombia.

The Frenchman’s message and minutes management

At the event, the Frenchman insisted that the discomfort is behind him and criticized the information that has circulated in recent weeks: "The knee is fine, much better. It’s going quite well, although there has been quite a bit of speculation about it and false things have been said. It’s the life of a high-level athlete, we’re used to people saying things without verifying and without any foundation."

The attacker recalled that the physical problem minimized his recent participation with Real Madrid. He was a substitute in the derby and also in the previous match, the victory at the Etihad against City. Despite that management, Mbappé was firm about his progress: "100% recovered. I had the opportunity to get a good diagnosis in Paris. And together we were able to design a plan to return to the best level with Real Madrid and also with the World Cup in mind."

The question now is how many minutes Didier Deschamps will give the number 10, after the careful management carried out by Álvaro Arbeloa in the last two matches of the white team, both won despite Kylian’s limited participation.
