The recommendation was clear. The medical services informed Míchel that the player should not exceed 30 minutes on the pitch, a limit designed to reduce any risk. With that guideline, the coach decided to leave him out of the starting lineup and start with Claudio Echeverri and Thomas Lemar as the offensive references.

Already in the second half, Ounahi did get minutes and made an active contribution that helped Girona secure a draw.

Despite the setback, the forecast is that next week he will be able to return to play normally and regain chances of starting in the next match, on Saturday against Athletic Club at the Estadi de Montilivi.
