José Félix Díaz leaks the possible Real Madrid eleven to face Celta

Real Madrid is playing a large part of the season against Celta at Balaídos in a setting marked by absences. Given this situation, Arbeloa has made significant decisions for the starting lineup.

The main one, according to José Félix Díaz (Diario AS), is that Brahim and Fran García will start.

A change up front and a forced substitution on the flank

The starting presence of Brahim is the most outstanding novelty. The Málaga native hadn’t been getting many minutes since his return after playing a great role in the Africa Cup, and this time he appears from the start in a high-demand match. Until now, Arbeloa had used him more in midfield, as an inside forward, than near the area, with occasional appearances.

On this occasion, the adjustment also affects the forward line: Gonzalo falls out of the starting eleven. Brahim will form the front alongside Vinicius, maintaining the 4-4-2 that the coach has been using in recent matches.

On the left flank, Fran García will take the place of the suspended Carreras. There had been speculation that this position could go to Mendy, but the chosen one will be the youth player. Fran García has not started since the Copa match in which Madrid lost clearly to Albacete, a game in which Arbeloa substituted him in the second half for Camavinga.

Precisely Camavinga, who is carrying an infection in a molar and has not been able to train normally during the week — besides having missed the match against Getafe — will start from the bench. Because of this, Thiago is also expected in the eleven on the left, with Güler alongside Tchouameni and Valverde on the right.
