The player will miss the match against Elche due to an edema resulting from that action. His absence is confirmed, although it is hoped he will be able to return for the next match against Rayo Vallecano.

At Athletic Club there is relief after the initial scare, as at first a serious knee injury was feared. Tests conducted on Monday ruled out severe damage to both the ligament and the meniscus, as the club highlighted in a statement that, however, did not specify the problem keeping him away.

In any case, the absence comes before the clash against Elche CF and will be his second missed match in a very demanding season for him.
