I believe I am speaking about a popular opinion when I say that the arrival of Lemar at the Catalan club has surprised both fans and outsiders. Despite the fact that the player has shown himself to be inconsistent in recent seasons, he is undeniably talented, and we should not forget that he cost over 70 million euros to Atlético Madrid, having had many suitors in the top European leagues during his time at Monaco. With this new opportunity, less pressure and a team that will support him, he can shine again, and we, benefit from his performances.

Pros

As of today, Lemar as an addition to our team has certain undeniable benefits. First of all, his cost is not very high since he is in a team like Girona, which after their performance last season, presumably will be a mid to lower table team. However, we are talking about an inconsistent team capable of surprising or disappointing us, and much of the fate of the team this year will be due to the French midfielder. 

If the player manages to find his form and connect with Stuani or Abel Ruiz, the Catalan team will be able to aim higher and even glance at Europe, but if not, he may become a player of little significance and end up in a supporting role. The positive aspect today is that his price is rising, and buying him now could be beneficial to the economy of our Fantasy teams, potentially allowing us to sell him for more value in the near future.

Cons

To talk about the cons, we must once again refer to the player's physical condition, which seems to be a mystery. If he fails to regain his competitive rhythm, Lemar may not have the expected appearances, especially considering the potential competition he may face. The Girona club's market is at a crucial moment with the possible arrival of Vitor Reis and, concerning us, Echeverri, from City.

If the Argentine player arrives in LaLiga, and Lemar doesn't find his place or his form, it's possible for Echeverri to take on the leading role as Girona's playmaker, thus making Lemar a mandatory sale. 

Fantasy recommendation

In summary, Lemar is an option that can be very promising today, costing a few million and with increasing value, allowing us to speculate on his growth. In the long term, keeping him in our squad will depend on whether we only want that economic benefit or if we believe Lemar will establish himself in the Catalan team, even if Echeverri chooses to join Girona over AS Roma.
