After a brilliant season in the Second Division with Mirandés, where he established himself as one of the most promising defenders in the championship, the Bilbao club was clear that the next step had to be in the First Division. Rincón, a native of Valtierra, remains a solid bet for the Lions' future.

The loan to Girona has not been simple: clubs like Alavés, Levante, Mallorca, Sevilla, Getafe, or Rayo also inquired about him. However, the sporting plan of the Catalan team and the relevant role offered were key to closing the deal.

Following Areso's signing, and with Gorosabel as the backup, the young full-back was aware that he would have few minutes with the team and the Basque team's sports management wants Rincón to gain experience at the highest level and return ready to fight for a place in the first team. At Montilivi, they are expecting him as an immediate reinforcement for the right flank.
