Ansu Fati already has a new team!

FC Barcelona continues shaping its squad for a season that looks as demanding as it is exciting. **With the Champions League as a major obsession, Hansi Flick's project is progressing both in signings and in departures. And it is in this latter chapter that the name of Ansu Fati fits, one of the players who was expected to do **very important things** with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, but whose continuous **physical problems** have hindered his promising career.

1.250.000€-90.000€-

The forward, who is not part of the German coach's plans, will head to **AS Monaco**, a destination where he will seek to revive a career that needs **minutes, confidence**, and **continuity**. After weeks of negotiations, the agreement is sealed: the Spanish international **will play on loan in Ligue 1 during the 2025/26 season,** with a **purchase option included**.
Agreement details
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Fati is expected to travel between this **Wednesday** and **Thursday** to the Principality to finalize his inclusion. The agreement includes a **one-season loan**, with a **buyout clause** that could be activated depending on the player's performance.
The French club's plan is to add a player with **dribbling ability**, still with **room for development** and with the **motivation to regain prominence**. Barcelona, on the other hand, is opting for a model that allows its homegrown talent to increase in value without parting ways with him in the short term.
Renewal before departure
Before making his departure official, **Ansu will renew his contract with Barcelona until 2028**. This has been confirmed by Cadena SER. The move is part of a strategy by the club presided over by Joan Laporta to **protect the player in the face of a potential breakthrough abroad**. Additionally, the player has agreed to defer part of his salary to facilitate the operation.
Regarding the **distribution of the salary**, both entities have reached a middle ground: **Monaco** will cover **50% of the forward's salary**, after the initial positions were farther apart (30%-80%). Additionally, as the player will reside in the Principality for more than half a year, he will be able to benefit from the local tax regime.
Countdown
If there are no setbacks in the bureaucratic procedures, **Ansu will undergo a medical examination in the next few hours** and will join the pre-season of **AS Monaco**, which begins this Saturday, June 28. The French club is confident that the attacker will arrive in time to take part in the initial training sessions.
