The Comunio 26/27 Season Change Will Be on June 9

What is the season change?

The season change is an automatic transition that the game performs on a specific date to end the previous season and start a new one. The official closure of the 2025/26 campaign and the start of the 2026/27 season will take place on Tuesday, June 9 on comunio.es.

To carry out this transition, the game offers several options to communities to choose how they want to begin the new season. The administrator of each community can select the change they want in the Community Settings. 

Usually, the season change process takes several hours during which the game is closed to registrations. During this time, transfers are made, and the transition mode chosen by the community administrator is executed.

The season change will only be made in communities created after the start of the 25/26 matchday.

Is the season change done only on June 9?

Yes, the season change is done only once a year and on a specific date, in this case June 9. After it, there will be no new date when the game automatically transitions/resets the season.

If in your community you are not going to start the new season on June 9 and want to reset it later to raffle teams + 20 million or start without a team + 40 million, the community administrator can always use the Reset Community option available in their admin panel.

Season change options for Basic Communities

Basic communities offer several options for season changes: 

1. Keep team + 5 million

Each member keeps their team and balance and receives an extra 5 million for new acquisitions. This transition is more suitable for smaller leagues that think long-term and build their squad with foresight, similar to the real football league. Therefore, they can sign a promising talent for 2-3 years and wait for them to become a world-class star.

2. New team + 20 million

The most common change mode in Comunio and the way almost everyone starts playing. Everyone gets a team of 15 randomly assigned players and 20 million to sign players.

3. No team, 40 million

You start with 40 million and no players. This is undoubtedly the fairest mode of all those existing in Comunio; each manager starts with the same opportunities.

4. Keep 5 players + 10 randomly assigned players with fixed positions + 9 million 

Everyone must choose 5 players from their current squad to keep for the new season. To do this, they must select them under “Lineup” before the season change is made. If they do not, the system will by default keep the 5 players with the most points from the previous season. They will also receive 9 million and get 10 other players (1 goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders, and two forwards) randomly assigned.

5. Keep 5 players + 9 million + 10 randomly assigned players with variable positions

All community members keep 5 players from their current squad, as well as receiving 9 million and obtaining another 10 randomly assigned players that together with the kept players complete the following distribution: 2 goalkeepers, 4 defenders, 6 midfielders, and 3 forwards.
