Éder Militao, Real Madrid defender, left the field near the second half of the match against Alavés due to a cramp in the back of his right thigh that "does not seem serious" after subsequent examination, according to the white club.

The alarm was greater because Militao had recently just returned, on April 4 against Mallorca, after nearly four months out due to a muscle injury suffered in December. Because of this, Madrid opted to not take any risks and substitute him immediately with Rüdiger, prioritizing caution in a player who has had several physical issues in recent seasons.
